Depth Chart Overview

Wooden and Marcus Harris were going to be the focal points of the defensive line no matter what, but multiple transfers eroded the depth behind them and pressure is on the two to produce.

That should not be a problem for Wooden. He has gotten better every season and was recently tabbed as a rising star by 247Sports. He was one of the most impactful linemen against the run and pass last season and should only be better in 2022.

He and his younger brother Caleb both have demonstrated impressive work ethics and a drive to get better. This offseason he has been focusing on improving his technique which should elevate his game even more.

Auburn’s depth behind Wooden is not great but he has the star power to carry the unit and become Auburn’s next dominant defensive lineman.
